Forskningsnettet

Forskningsnet•CERT maintains a datase on vulnarbilities, containing warnings on security problems in operatings systems, apllications and some network units.

All institutions connected to Forskningsnettet can subscribe to the vulnarbility-service free of charge. They can recieve the warnings by e-mail or sms. The service makes it possible for systemadministrators to prevent exploits of the weaknesses in the systems.

The system administrator can register their systems and applications to the vulnability database, to recieve warnings directed precisly to their systems.
